URGENT-Raise in Security Levels

Effective immediately all Liberian vessels calling ports in Israel, Lebanon, and Syria shall raise to the following Security Levels:

  • Haifa, Israel: Security Level 3 and all vessel should stay 60 miles away from the port limits.
  • All other ports in Israel: Security Level 2
  • Lebanon (all ports): Security Level 3, avoid entering any ports in Lebanon
  • Syria: Security Level 2

 

This situation will be assessed on a daily basis by our security department to determine the length of time that this will apply.  As soon as we have credible information that it is safe for Liberian vessels to operate in these ports at Security Level 1, we will advise you.

Please reiterate to your vessels to be aware of any suspicious activities and continue to thoroughly implement the Ship Security Plan and ISPS Code.

UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE!

 

Effective immediately all Liberian vessels calling ports in Israel, Lebanon, and Syria shall raise to the following Security Levels:

·         Haifa, Israel: Security Level 3 and all vessel.

·         All other ports in Israel: Security Level 2

·         Lebanon (all ports): Security Level 3, avoid entering any ports in Lebanon, ALL vessels passing through should stay 60 miles away from the SHORELINE.  The missiles fired from Lebanon have about a 50 mile range and they are shooting at any vessels within that distance to their Shoreline.

·         Syria: Security Level 2
